Bikes For Books 2017
The Members of Euclid Lodge # 194 have kicked off this years Bikes For Books program.
We will be awarding 18 new Huffy bikes and Prorider helmets this year.
We will be at the Madison Elementary School and Madison Jr High in May

Bikes For Books 2010
On April 13 2010 students at Madison Elementary School had a very exciting morning. Masons from Euclid Lodge # 194 in Madison held their third annual Bikes For Books assembly. The students in SAD 59 have been reading for this program since mid February. Each student who reads a book receives a ticket to be placed into a drawing. The more they read the more chances they have in the drawing. Members from Euclid Lodge #194 drew tickets from the boxes of tickets one girl and one boy per grade. Ten Huffy bikes and ten helmets were awarded at MES. The Winners are as follows: Kindergarten, First grade, Second grade, Third grade, Forth grade,.

On April 14, 2010 The Students at Madison Jr. High gathered in the cafeteria to start their day off with their First annual Bikes For Books assembly. Eight bikes were awarded. The winners are, Fifth grade, Sixth grade, Seventh grade, Eighth grade,
Later that morning the students at Starks Elementary School had their Second annual Bikes For Books assembly. Four bikes were awarded Winners are as follows,
The students turned in almost 4,000 entry forms that equals to thousands of minutes of reading.
Euclid Lodge # 194 awarded 40 Huffy bicycles this year to students in SAD 59. The helmets were supplied with the help of the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. Euclid Lodge would like to thank the many generous business and individuals who donated money and time to this worthy program. It was with their help that they were able to expand the Bikes For Books program to all students in grades K-8 in SAD 59.
