The 23rd District Traveling Trowel

Brother Mike Morin is a member of Webster Lodge and a jeweler by trade. He makes and sells fine jewelry of all types under the name of The Jewelers Bench. When Wor. Brother Tom Ray spoke to him about the Traveling Trowel idea, Mike said "Why don't you let me make one?" Brother Ray told him that if he would do this the members of the 23rd Masonic District Association would find a way to come up with the cost. On March 24, 2005 Brother Morin presented Brother Ray with the beautiful trowel that we are now using. When asked about the cost Brother Morin and his father Wor. Brother Marcel Morin said that it was their gift to the association.

The Traveling Trowel was officially presented to the 23rd Masonic District Association and started it's travels on March 28, 2005 when Ashlar Lodge captured it with 6 Masons from their Lodge in attendance at a School of Instruction and Fellowcraft Review.
