Greetings Brethren,
The March meeting set two practices and special for the Fellowcraft degree on as many as two E.A.s Practice was on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 on March 18th and the next practice will be Tuesday evening April 10 at 6:00 p.M.. Degree work on April 12 with 6:30 supper and 7:30 work. Wor. Michael Williams will sit in the East and Wor. David Sawyer will do the Senior Warden''''''''s part including the lecture.
Sunday afternoon''''''''''''''''s practice went very well, with all the chairs represented and the officers knew their work. Should be an excellent degree on the 12th of April.

Work has begun on changing our by-laws to move our November meeting away from Thanksgiving and our December meeting away from Christmas and New Years.
January stated communication was on Thursday evening at 7:30 preceded by a 6:30 pot luck supper. We balloted on one applicant for the degrees within the gift of the Lodge. He is a resident of Westport.
We did an EA degree on the 26th with an inspection be the District Deputy Grand Master. There was a 6:00 shrimp stew supper prepared by Wor. David Sawyer.
A semi-public installation will be scheduled in late January or early February.
Old News:
April 2nd we did a Masonic Memorial Service for Bro. David Cromwell at the old town hall on Westport. It was standing room only and the Lodge turned out was excellent as well. David Fairfield and Bro. David Barnes spoke and then the service was done by Wor. Jeffrey Hillman and Wor. James Munson with much dignity.
Sunday morning April 3rd we cooked breakfast for 60 girl scouts and their leaders at the Rec Center after their overnight. Most of us stayed out the kitchen so that Chuck Billings, Jim Munson, Jeff Averill and Karl Olson could do an excellent job cooking. Everybody had a good time and it was very much appreciated by the girls. 5:30 is awfully early to be up on a Sunday!
Stated this evening was sparsely attended but all enjoyed a hamburg and potato salad. Accomplished all we needed to during the business meeting.
Saturday June 25 at 10:00 has been set for the committal service of John Sutter.
