Brethren,
This will be the last Trestleboard published before the Lodge goes dark in July and August. The September Trestleboard will go out in early August. It doesn't seem possible that we have already reached the half way mark for the year 2010.
Looking ahead to September appears to be slow for United Lodge with no new candidates in the wings. We do have several applications awaiting the return of those brothers seeking the Fellowcraft Degree (2) and Master Mason Degree (1).
We have a new shipment of Commemorative Coins just in. These coins have been quite popular, if you haven't got yours, now is the time, contact Brother Secretary. Also we still have a few United Lodge sweat shirts stills available.
In closing I extend to each and every Brother a joyous summer and leave you this thought:
"Let us look forward and count the manifold blessing that surround us as Masons. Let us watch over all mankind in thought word and deed. It is not too late for each of us to make a difference in the lives in those that come before us in our daily transaction with all mankind."
